I bought two instruments this week. I just so happened to find a couple of great deals. The headless bass is like the one featured on the "Journey Separate Ways" Video. The other instrument is a balalaika. It's a semi-obscure Russian folk instrument.

30 Day Mark!
So as of today I am now past my first 30 days on my diet! This may not seem exciting to you but for me that means I get to add in some food! For example I will now have toast with my breakfast and tortillas with my dinner! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! So far I have lost about 15 pounds. I will be adding in regular exercise now too.
I have felt so much better since starting my diet and hope to incorporate what I have learned into my daily life when I get back to the size I want.

Pictures!
This house is located right outside of Rexburg. We do not know anything about it except that it is a house built like a boat. If anyone knows more please do tell.
I am not sure why my husband posted this picture other than that Henrik looks weird in it.
We went up to Ashton to catch a dog sled race. Henrik looked like a mini cowboy. He loved getting to walk around outside. He loves outside but it has been so cold he doesn't get to go out much. He also doesn't like to hold on to our hands but he learned quickly if he didn't he would not get to walk around. Grandma and I would swing him over the puddles. He thought that was great!
Henrik got to pet some of the sled dogs and this little lab (I think it's a lab). He thought it was great and learned to bark that day.
This is Henrik up in Ashton with my parents. My dad really wanted to go see the dogs.
This was valentines day. Daniel and Henrik got me flowers and chocolate. This was two days before I started my diet.
We went to Utah to see Ben off at the M.T.C. he is going to Mexico!
This is Henrik taking apart a smoke alarm and trying to fix it with a screw driver. He think he has picked up that you fix things with screw drivers by going with us to fix things in the apartments sometimes.
10 pounds now!
I have now lost around 10 pounds in about 16 days. I feel so much better. I actually want to go be active. I also have noticed that I am a lot more patient, and happier all around. I have also noticed that I can feel the Spirit more often. Of course this has given me a greater testimony of the Word of Wisdom (note: the Word of Wisdom is a type of health code reveled through the prophet Joseph Smith and is int eh book of the Doctrine and Covenants that we study in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you can look it up on line at LDS.org, here is the link http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dc/89 ). Yet another witness to me that when we follow God's will we are blessed, and that he always keeps his promises.
Several of you have asked what diet I am doing, it's a program by a group called CEA-HOW. They have groups every where and have a healthy and smart way of doing things. Here is the link for their site if you are interested http://www.ceahow.org/index.htm. This diet may not be for everyone depending on the reason you have gained weight, but you can research it if you would like. The first week is really hard and then you get use to it even though it is still hard especially if you are around others who are eating your favorite foods. The first part of the diet is 30 days and then it changes a bit. The real point is to help you make a life style change, and think about what and how much you are eating. The program is also build to help you conquer your body (ya know mind over body) by finding strength within by relying on God.
