Henrik's Words of Wisdom

After wondering why some of our roustabout neighbors were yelling and punching each other in the face, we explained to Henrik that beer can sometimes lead to doing naughty things. It left a big impression.

TRANSCRIPT:

"Heavenly Father don't like us drink beer. No! That not right way! Naughty No Noes. Supposed drink juice and water and chocolate milk. Sorry me drink all chocolate milk all gone. Me don't mean to."

Thanksgiving Trip Ordeal

Potty Training

So Henrik has been 95% potty trained since August. He goes by himself all the time, He never goes in his pants during the day, and most the time he stays dry at night too. We have been very proud of him. He has been doing really well this whole year. Even before August he was doing really well. It's been a HUGE blessing.


HOWEVER...

This weekend we put him in pull-ups a lot because of traveling which set him back a bit. So I have decided we need to take the next leap of faith, as a parent, and go Pull-Up FREE. Last time we made a leap was in August. That is when we started doing no Pull-Ups during the day. He could only wear big kid underwear. I really think that his potty progression could have been VERY fast if I hadn't of been too chicken to take the necessary steps at a faster pace. In other words, it's me holding him back, not him (though taking our sweet time has made it a lot less stressful). I just don't look forward to cleaning up after accidents so I have had no desire to really move to the next step UNTIL now.

I will be brave and show my faith is Henrik's abilities.
